Summary of the Story, Boss Fights, Side Quests, and Collectibles in Chapter 6 of Black Myth: Wukong

In the sixth chapter of Black Myth, Wukong arrives at the Flower-Fruit Mountain, which is also the final chapter. Two endings will be triggered according to the plot. Below, the editor will bring you a summary of the boss branch collection strategy for the sixth chapter. Here we can get the golden hoop and somersault cloud, and look for the relics of the Great Sage together.

Chapter 6 – Unfinished

Introduction: There is an open map in the middle of this chapter. Key bosses are distributed throughout the open map. The approximate locations are marked by players below. If necessary, you can watch the video strategy content released by Youxia. The video strategy is relatively detailed.

After we collected the five roots of the Great Sage according to the old monkey’s instructions, we returned to Huaguo Mountain with the second brother to report to the old monkey. We only had to wait for him to take out the sixth root of the Great Sage, and then we would have collected all six roots.

But what is strange is that for some reason, this Flower-Fruit Mountain is garrisoned everywhere by heavenly soldiers.

Go forward along the mountain road, clear out some heavenly soldiers on the way, and come to the first Buddha shrine (Qingzhang Mountain) in the Huaguo Mountain map. You will encounter the first BOSS “Wang Lingguan” in front of you. (Note: The banana fan is very effective in the second stage of Wang Lingguan.)

After defeating Wang Lingguan, we officially opened the large map “Huaguo Mountain” of this chapter, and obtained a new spell “Somersault Cloud” (because the Huaguo Mountain map is large, Somersault Cloud can be regarded as a means of transportation in this chapter)

At this point we have entered a large open map, where we can explore everywhere on the Somersault Cloud, and our goal is to defeat the key BOSS and find the Monkey King’s treasure. (For the approximate distribution of the BOSS, please refer to the rough route in the figure below or refer to the video strategy)

The recommended order for killing the above key BOSSes is to start from the right side of the above picture. The editor starts from the lightning. After riding the “Somersault Cloud” we fly all the way to the place where thunder is striking. We can first kill the boss here-Bu Yunlu.

After defeating the Buyundeer, you will obtain the Great Sage’s “Lotus Silk Buyun Shoes”. At this point we can understand that the main storyline of this chapter is to obtain the Great Sage’s weapons and equipment. Next, we will go to the next boss.

We turn back from the Buyundeer and continue looking for the place where there is lightning. Specifically, it is in the opposite direction of the Buyundeer, which can be roughly seen as the “key boss” position in the picture above. After we find the location of the second lightning, we trigger the next boss – the golden armored rhino.

If the player can’t find it, the location of the Golden Rhino is on the map after obtaining the Somersault Cloud and opening the Flower and Fruit Mountain. It is located at a place called “Wangxi Slope”. Players can find it by exploring to the right. It is not difficult to find.

Note: There is a hidden boss monster “Langbobo” below the Golden Rhino.

After defeating the Golden-Armored Rhino, he obtained the Great Sage’s armor – the “Chain Gold Armor”.

The third key boss we are looking for is called “General Fengchi”, and he looks like a giant grasshopper, as shown in the picture below.

General Fengchi will jump back and forth on the map, but he is not difficult to find. You can search according to the picture below. The positions 1, 2, and 3 marked along the way are the approximate locations where General Fengchi will pass.

After finding the Phoenix Wing General, this BOSS is a mechanical BOSS. We need to stand on its head to trigger the QTE and long press the interaction key. After consuming our physical strength, the Phoenix Wing General will stop moving. In the second stage, pay attention to use the fire shield in the magic weapon, otherwise it will continue to lose blood. After two QTEs, you can get the Monkey King’s Phoenix Wing Purple Gold Crown.

At this point we have obtained three of the Great Sage’s treasures. Let’s go find the fourth one. Ride the somersault cloud back to the place where General Fengchi jumped for the second time (mark ② in the picture above). The fourth BOSS, Green Mantis, is in a fog.

After entering the fog, we trigger the plot and enter Bajie’s stomach to fight the Green Mantis. This battle is very difficult and has a low tolerance rate. After defeating it, you will get the Monkey King’s – Inlaid Kingfisher Flying Dragon Button.

After collecting the Monkey King’s armor, Bajie told us to go to the Water Curtain Cave for a while. When we got to the Water Curtain Cave, the Ruyi Jingu Bang was standing there. (The boss of the Water Curtain Cave is marked in the picture below)

As the plot progresses, we obtain the final magic weapon – the golden cudgel, and now we can go up the mountain to find the old monkey.

We ran up the mountain along the collapsed stone road. Our strength increased greatly at this time, and it was as easy as mowing the grass to meet the heavenly soldiers on the road.

We walked up from the peak, and there were still many heavenly soldiers blocking the way. Bajie and I overcame all obstacles and reached the top of the mountain, where we opened the last Buddhist shrine (Tianzhending).

Then we saw in front of us the stone egg that the eldest brother turned into after his death. After we touched the stone egg, we entered the eldest brother’s memory.

At this time, we saw the old monkey who had been waiting for a long time. He explained to us the origins of Wukong’s six senses. Only when these six senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind are gathered together can we be the real Sun Wukong. Each sense tells a story of Monkey King. The old monkey slowly told the whole story, and we and Bajie listened quietly.

The old monkey knows so many things, Bajie thought he was the last “will” of his senior brother, but the old monkey told us that he was actually the last “will” of Wukong after all the hardships he had gone through. To collect all six wills, he must defeat his original self. The old monkey rowed the boat and took us to the last place. He told us that only by defeating the remaining body of the Great Sage can we inherit the Great Sage’s will. However, his remaining body has become a soulless zombie. What we have to do is to get rid of him and become the new generation of the Great Sage.

After defeating the Stone Monkey, his body re-condensed into the Great Sage, who is the final boss we have to defeat. The Great Sage’s remaining body has all our abilities and spells, and is the result of Wukong’s remaining thoughts. (After death, he will be reborn in the last Buddhist shrine in the stone realm)

As we defeated the Great Sage, the story came to an end. We collected all six roots, and the old monkey put the golden hoop on us again. At this time, Tianmingren became the new generation of Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven. But is the story really over? Will Tianmingren continue to bear the constraints brought by the golden hoop? Perhaps, we will see new possibilities in another ending…

The above is a summary of the boss side quest collection guide for Chapter 6 of Black Myth: Wukong. Two endings will be triggered here and everyone can explore freely.
